How are whole-animal shares priced?
Shares are priced per pound of hanging weight: the carcass weight before cutting, trimming and deboning. The weight of packaged meat you receive is lower. Each listing shows the rate and an estimated total; your final product price uses the confirmed hanging weight.
Proposed share rates include standard inspected slaughter, cutting, vacuum packaging and freezing. Special curing, smoking, sausage work, delivery and tax are quoted separately. We confirm the cut plan, final weight, price and pickup or delivery arrangements before payment. These are packaged-meat orders, not live-animal purchases.
Bird cases are dressed, ready-to-cook whole birds. Case savings compare the same quantities with our proposed single-pack catalog prices; availability and exact weights still need confirmation.

Good food should arrive in good condition. If an accepted delivery arrives spoiled, damaged, or outside its safe temperature requirements, contact us within 24 hours with photos and your order details. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund for the affected product after review.
Do not taste or eat food you suspect is unsafe. Keep packaging and delivery details for our review. This promise applies to confirmed orders; it does not mean every product is shipped fresh rather than frozen.

Frozen meats are intended for delivery to eligible addresses in the contiguous U.S., subject to supplier confirmation. Provide your full address and we’ll confirm delivery options. Smaller retail items will come later.
Is everything raised at Silver Silo?
Our launch market is a curated collection sourced through independent suppliers. We’ll identify the producer or origin on the confirmed product details. Our own farm products will be introduced separately as they become available.
Is shipping included?
No. Product prices exclude shipping and applicable tax. Frozen, chilled, and pantry items may travel separately. Your quote will show the complete delivered price before you approve an order.
What about product ingredients and allergens?
Final ingredient, allergen, and handling information will be provided with your quote and product labels. Mention any allergies in your inquiry; do not assume a product is allergen-free.
Can I order today?
You can submit a bulk request today. Products need availability confirmation. Submitting a request does not charge you or confirm an order. We’ll reply with the final quote and payment arrangements.
